Homemade Chili Garlic Paste

Servings: a lot
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes

  • Large pan
  • Glass jar / container

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 13 tbsp of minced garlic (or 40 cloves)
  • 3 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt


1.) Add olive oil to pan with medium-low heat, then cook garlic and ginger.  Saute for 1 minute or until fragrant.

Add red pepper flakes and tomato paste, then saute for another 1-2 minutes.

Pour into container and save for other dishes / recipes.
